Microsoft Imagine Cup 2017

Imagine Cup

Imagine Cup is a global competition that empowers the next generation of computer science students to team up and use their creativity, passion and knowledge of technology to create applications that shape how we live, work and play. Every year tens of thousands of students from across the globe compete for cash, travel and prizes and for the honor of taking home the Imagine Cup!
For the past 15 years, the Imagine Cup has been the world's premier student technology competition. Since 2003, Microsoft has provided a global platform for students to turn their dreams into reality. Students from across the globe build amazing teams to bring their biggest, boldest ideas to life. Working with mentors and industry leaders, they get feedback to further hone and develop their projects. 
Imagine Cup National Finals competitions happen in dozens of countries all over the world. Organized by Microsoft subsidiaries in those countries, the National Finals select the best teams from each participating country as they pitch and demo their ideas to experts to vie for a coveted spot at the Imagine Cup World Finals.
All World Finalist teams win an all-expenses paid trip to the World Finals, where they will compete with the best and brightest teams from across the globe for the title of World Champion, $100,000 cash prize and the chance to take home the Imagine Cup!

Cloud 20/20 quiz and project competition

Cloud 20/20 Year 8  offers for aspiring participants : Student Innovation Projects (SIP). Under SIP, engineering students will be required to submit project ideas around the latest disruptive trends. This contest is open to research students, post-graduates, as well as engineering students in Computer Science, Information Technology, and other related fields. Registrations for Cloud 20/20 closes on December 31st, 2016. The winning teams stand a chance to win prizes amounting to INR up to 4.25 lakhs. Additionally, they will also get an opportunity to intern and explore career opportunities with Unisys.

3rdand Final year CSE students.

2. a Quiz competition  We will need teams of 2 to be formed with as many teams as possible (no restrictions on the numbers of teams). Top 8 teams will get Unisys Certificates. MUST ENROLL COURSE FOR ALL CSE STUDENTS





Harvard University's introduction to the intellectual enterprises of computer science and the art of programming for majors and non-majors alike, with or without prior programming experience. An entry-level course taught by David J. Malan, CS50x teaches students how to think algorithmically and solve problems efficiently. Topics include abstraction, algorithms, data structures, encapsulation, resource management, security, software engineering, and web development. Languages include C, PHP, and JavaScript plus SQL, CSS, and HTML. Problem sets inspired by real-world domains of biology, cryptography, finance, forensics, and gaming. As of Fall 2015, the on-campus version of CS50xCS50, was Harvard's largest course.
Students who earn a satisfactory score on 9 problem sets (i.e., programming assignments) and a final project will receive a certificate from HarvardX. This is a self-paced course–you may take CS50x on your own schedule.

Topic 1: Digitalization of Customer Interaction

Some two-thirds of Hilti’s more than 23,000 worldwide employees work directly on behalf of customers in Hilti sales organizations and technical service units. They generate more than 200,000 daily interactions with customers, creating the basis for the ongoing development of new products and services.
 
You are required to: Design and develop an IoT solution prototype incorporating innovative ideas to realize digitalization of customer interaction.
 
 
Topic 2: Implementation of IoT in Construction Industry
 
Hilti provides premium products, systems and services to construction professionals. The company regularly sets the standard in the construction and building maintenance industries by developing and providing innovative solutions and internationally-renowned products.
