MUST ENROLL COURSE FOR ALL CSE STUDENTS





Harvard University's introduction to the intellectual enterprises of computer science and the art of programming for majors and non-majors alike, with or without prior programming experience. An entry-level course taught by David J. Malan, CS50x teaches students how to think algorithmically and solve problems efficiently. Topics include abstraction, algorithms, data structures, encapsulation, resource management, security, software engineering, and web development. Languages include C, PHP, and JavaScript plus SQL, CSS, and HTML. Problem sets inspired by real-world domains of biology, cryptography, finance, forensics, and gaming. As of Fall 2015, the on-campus version of CS50xCS50, was Harvard's largest course.
Students who earn a satisfactory score on 9 problem sets (i.e., programming assignments) and a final project will receive a certificate from HarvardX. This is a self-paced course–you may take CS50x on your own schedule.

Hilti aims to provide a user-centric experience through innovation and creativity in designing and developing tailor-made IoT prototype solutions that will enhance the digital experience of Hilti employees and customers. Please choose the challenge that best fits your interests and skills.
 
Topic 1: Digitalization of Customer Interaction

Some two-thirds of Hilti’s more than 23,000 worldwide employees work directly on behalf of customers in Hilti sales organizations and technical service units. They generate more than 200,000 daily interactions with customers, creating the basis for the ongoing development of new products and services.
 
You are required to: Design and develop an IoT solution prototype incorporating innovative ideas to realize digitalization of customer interaction.
 
 
Topic 2: Implementation of IoT in Construction Industry
 
Hilti provides premium products, systems and services to construction professionals. The company regularly sets the standard in the construction and building maintenance industries by developing and providing innovative solutions and internationally-renowned products. 

You are required to: Design and develop an IoT solution that supports and enhances Hilti products and services for the construction industry
